This picture of a bald eagle was taken at the "Wildpark Lüneburger Heide" in the north of germany.

Unfortunately the background was pretty close so it is a little bit too prominent for my taste. Every time the background was at a distance great enough the eagle was also farther away. But since the 85mm f/1,8 prime is my only lens with a autofocus fast enough for these shots, i wasn't able to take good pictures at these greater distances. I guess i need a 70-200mm :plotting:

Maybe you notice the little antenna the eagle is dragging behind. It is a part of a small radio transmitter that is attached to the leg. Sometimes the eagles are flying away during a show and the transmitter is then used to track them down.

Einfach nen anderen Winkel bzw ne andere Position nehmen. Dann klappts selbst mit nem Weitwinkel, ohne das was störendes drauf ist.

muss aber zugeben, optimal sind 300mm aufwärts und dann ins Tal fotografiert :)

Bilder wie deine sind ja eh weit außerhalb meiner Reichweite ^^ (Hab deine Bilder schon seit ich das erste Mal was vom Wildpark Lüneburger Heide gelesen habe, verfolgt ;))
Aber ich bin schon am überlegen ob ich mir für nen Tag mit gutem Wetter mal eins der längeren L-Tele von Canon irgendwo leihen gehe. Ich hätte echt mal Lust zu sehen was da mit anderen Objektiven noch so geht.

Such a beautiful animal. Too bad there aren't eagles in my country :(
