This picture of a bald eagle was taken at the "Wildpark Lüneburger Heide" in the north of germany.
Unfortunately the background was pretty close so it is a little bit too prominent for my taste. Every time the background was at a distance great enough the eagle was also farther away. But since the 85mm f/1,8 prime is my only lens with a autofocus fast enough for these shots, i wasn't able to take good pictures at these greater distances. I guess i need a 70-200mm
Maybe you notice the little antenna the eagle is dragging behind. It is a part of a small radio transmitter that is attached to the leg. Sometimes the eagles are flying away during a show and the transmitter is then used to track them down.
